ELF Mineral Eyeshadow PrimerSunday, November 01, 2009
Hey everyone! So when I put on my foundation I’ve always applied it all over my lids too, thinking that it was holding on my eye shadow. But then I was noticing people were doing a lot of reviews on eye shadow primer. I never really thought about it before, but I noticed how much better people’s eye shadow look when they do use a primer. It blends better, the color are richer, doesn’t crease, and makes it last longer. One problem that I always run in to when I am trying to blend my eye shadow up, it likes to spread outside of the area I want it to, and fall below my eye. And it is easily wiped off. So I thought I’d give primer a try. Everyone is crazy about Urban Decay Primer Potion and Too Faced Shadow Insurance, which I’m sure they work great but they are over $20. I had been looking at drug stores and have not been able to find any primer. So I started looking around online at cosmetic sites for one and I found one on eyeslipsface.com. And it was only $3.00!! I got the mineral one so it was a little more expensive. But the regular one is only $1. I would have gotten that one but I saw the mineral one first so I thought that was the only one they had. I was a little worried about it because I had never heard anyone talk about using it so I read the reviews on it and they were good. So I thought, why not try it! I think the shipping was something like $5.00. So I looked online for some coupons and I found a coupon code for $2 shipping at ELF. So I got the whole thing for only $5.00!!
So it finally came a few days later and I love it! I have never tried a primer before but it works just fine and its affordable. My shadow goes on evenly and is still looking great by the end of the day.
When I get the chance I will do a test where I’ll only where the primer on one eye and see by the end of the day how my shadow looks and compare each eye. The results will be coming soon.
The discount code for $2 shipping is TOOSHIP
