Dove Visibly Smooth Review

Don't you all just hate having to shave your underarms everyday? Or you shave them and by the end of the day they are prickly again. Or they start to look a dark color? I have discovered a new deodorant that could take care of all those things for ya and prevent wetness.
I have the Dove Ultimate Visibly Smooth in Wild Rose. There is also a Nature Fresh Scent and a Clinical Protection formula. Prices range from $3.89-$4.88 for the Ultimate and $7.99-$9.99 for the Clinical Protection. You can get it at any drug/super store.
This deodorant claims to help minimize the look and feel of underarm hair over time. It also has 24-hour wetness protection and says it does not leave white marks on clothing.


My thoughts:
I used this product for over a month so I could really test it out for you all. The first week or so I did not see much of a difference in the hair. I was still shaving every other day or everyday. It did have awesome wetness protection and it lasted all day. I saw a few white marks but that was only when I wasn't really paying attention when putting my shirt on.

I normally don't like a stick (solid) deodorant. I have always used a gel or a cream deodorant. But I love this one! It went on so nicely and did not dry out my underarms like the gel. Mine tend to get pretty dry and itchy from shaving and being itchy under your arms is not cute! The Dove was totally moisturizing and I had no flaky skin!

So after using it after about 3 weeks I start noticing that it felt like I didn't need to shave. The hair was softer and not all prickly. It even seemed lighter, and believe me, I have some dark thick hair!

I have been shaving about every 2-3 days now. And I could even wait longer because people can't even see it since it got lighter. 2-3 days is much better than everyday! Shaving that much just dries out your skin and is a pain!

I definitely recommend Dove Visibly Smooth!

Nail & Toenail Polish Color Combos for Summer

Hey!
Over the past few weeks I painted my nails and toes different colors instead of the usual matching them. You can mix and match your nails from your toes, as long as the colors compliment. Red is really the only color that does not look good with others on nails and toes. The key is to keep the shades the same- bright colors together and pale colors together. Here are some examples that I put together:

This pink did not show up well. It is a light neon pink. Its realllyyy bright.

The Ins & Outs of July

Ins:

-Sally Hansen Hard As Wraps in Clear. This works great as a top coat. My nail polish is lasting twice as long! But it does take forever to dry.

-NYX Eye Shadow Palette For Your Eyes Only in Smokey Eyes. This is the perfect smokey eyes palette. And affordable!

-NYX Candy Glitter Liner in 12 Crystal. This is just a clear glitter liner. I love putting it over black liner. People won't stop looking!

-Maybelline Lipstain in In the Buff. This matches my natural lip color perfect, but its slightly brighter. Its the best natural lip color.

-BeFlurt.com They sell discounted name brand makeup like MAC, Smachbox, Slita, Urban Decay, Bobbi Brown, and much more. Check it out!

-My new pink rhinestone cell phone cover! It was only about $14 on Ebay. Check out the store it was from here. Click here for the phone cover I got.

-My new skincare routine. I am liking it so far but I want to try it a few more weeks before I do a post about it.

Outs:

-L'Oreal Telescopic Carbon Black mascara. I LOVE the original Telescopic mascara but when I went to buy like my 4th tube I thought I'd try their newest one that is supposed to be a pure black. Don't try anything new when you know what works already!! It had a different brush that does not have very many bristles and did not give volume or separation for my lashes as the other does. Stick to the regular Telescopic!

-This is kind of an In and an Out- Bare Minerals Original foundation in Medium. I really like this foundation and LOVE the coverage. But the original has shimmer in it and my whole face looks shiny. Its not that bad and is wearable, but I only prefer shimmer on my cheek bones. I am going to keep using it but when I repurchase I will get the matte version of it!

-Nivea A Kiss of Moisture. Now I know this is highly raved about, and I really love the smoothness that it gives but..it does not last long! i have to constantly reapply this chapstick. It works great as a base for lipstick and has a nice texture, but does not compare to Carmex when it comes to lasting.
