Review & Demo/VIDEO: Hana Professional Flat Iron & Misikko.comTuesday, December 06, 2011
Hey everyone! I am delighted to bring you this review on the Hana Professional Flat Iron from Misikko.com. Watch my video for more information and a demo of me using it!
A little about Misikko.com first:
Misikko.com is an authentic retailer for hair care items such as: flat irons, blow dryers, curling irons, styling products, and hair extensions. Some top brand they sell are Hana, GHD, Chi, Paul Mitchell, Babyliss, and tons more! They also have a variety of makeup and skincare as well. There website is easy to navigate categories like: top sellers, top rated, ceramic, titanium, or by brand.
Why order from Misikko.com?
The Hana Professional Flat Iron is considered one Misikko.com's best flat irons, along with being the a top seller. It has a sleek flat black design, with blue ceramic tourmaline plates. Negative ions seal the hair cuticle, for soft, sleek hair, with little to no damage. The adjustable heat setting ranges from 140-450 degrees. It has a 1" wide plate, with beveled edges and a rounded tip to prevent snags. Since it is a 1" iron, it was easy to get close to my roots. And the beveled edges keep it from forming those nasty kinks. Even the design of the handle makes it comfortable to hold and helps me grip it. The iron heats up after about 30 seconds, and the light will begin to blink when it is ready. The heat distribution and design allows for you to easily curly or flip your hair out with it. It has a 8 foot swivel cord, so you can do your hair anywhere. Although I don't recommend straightening hair when its wet, the Hana Flat Iron is safe on damp hair. Always dry your hair completely, but if it's still a little bit damp somewhere, it won't hurt it. It even comes with a 2 year warranty!
The flat iron comes with a heat-proof storage pouch, heat-proof mat, leather case, and storage tin.
The performance of this flat iron totally blew me away. I have tried this without blow drying my hair first, like I did in this video, and it only took about two passes down the piece of hair to get it straight. (That is with it set on 450 degrees). I blowed dried my hair first in this video though to save time, and it helps it straighten better. It slid down my hair so easily, and did not snag at all. There was some steam coming off of my hair, but that is totally normal. It's not the hair burning, its just the moisture being taken out of the hair and turning to steam. I have never seen a flat iron that made my hair this soft and silky. My hair even held up on the humid days, and it lasted the whole time I had it straight.
Tell me what you think of Misikko.com, and if you have tried this flat iron!
