e.l.f. Cosmetics, originally known for their affordable makeup, has recently been coming out with skincare products. I love how each one I've tried is innovative, and something different you typically don't see from skincare brands. I wanted to try out the new Beauty Shield Magnetic Face Mask, and put it to the test for you all. In this video, I share how to apply it, what skin benefits it claims to have, and share my before and after results.
The Ingredients
The mask contains iron powder, which although sounds scary, actually has some benefits when combined with the magnet. The pull of the magnet helps draw out impurities in your pores, reduce the size of pores, and fight against skin pollutants. It also contains Carrot Seed Oil, Sunflower Seed Oil, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, and Argan Oil which moisturize and help with anti-aging.

How to Apply It
It's fairly easy to use, and the magnet tool makes it pretty mess-free. Apply the mask all over your face with your fingers (I don't recommend using a brush like I do in the video because it's hard to remove with water).  Avoid the eye area. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until it's completely dr. Cover the magnetic tool with the disposable plastic covers provided in the kit. Slowly glide the wand over your face while hovering above the surface. The mask will quickly stick to the wand. It does not hurt, nor does it tug on your skin when removing. Avoid rinsing your face afterwards to allow the ingredients to sink into your skin.

The Results
After using it, my face felt very soft. It also had a calming effect, and most of my redness was diminished and I could tell my pores appeared smaller. My face had somewhat of a glow to it, and it definitely felt hydrated. I plan to continue using it weekly, and if it becomes my new favorite mask I will certainly let you know!
